A new play written by Eric Micha Holmes, one of three resident playwrights with the National Black Theater of Harlem. Falls for Jodie is a personal, compassionate portrait of John Hinckley, Jr.’s descent into bigotry, radicalization, and gun violence, set just months before his attempt on Ronald Reagan’s life.
Talkbacks after every show include artists and others interested in civil, constructive discussion between all voices interested in addressing the national epidemic of desperation among young men.
Plays March 6 – 17, 2019. Produced by Trevor Vaughn of Brooklyn Pearl and the John Drew Theater, Josh Gladstone – Artistic Director, at Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY.
